From July 1, 2021, a shareholder of a simple joint-stock company, whose contribution to the company is the provision of work or services, is covered by social insurance and health insurance as a person conducting non-agricultural activity.

Retirement, disability, accident and health insurance are obligatory for them from the date of commencement of work or services to the date of termination of their provision. Sickness insurance is voluntary for them.

A shareholder of a simple joint-stock company applies for insurance with an insurance title code starting with 05 43.

The shareholder pays social security contributions from the declared amount not lower than 60% of the forecasted average monthly remuneration. Health insurance contributions, on the other hand, from 100% of the average monthly salary in the enterprise sector in the fourth quarter of the previous year, including payments of the profit.
